"Appreciation of Music from India"
to be held at Sharon Public Library , 11 North Main St, Sharon, MA 02067
on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 between 6pm and 7pm
Lec-dem will include a presentation on music of India with demonstration of Dhrupad, Khyaal, Tappa, Taraana, Thumri, Dadra, Devotional and Folk music. Rohit Rao will provide accompaniment on harmonium and Radha Rao will provide vocal support. Please do come!
