A unique interactive concert with a thematic blend of Indian Classical (Carnatic & Hindustani) – Film based music – Bhajans, theoretical concepts of Raga (Melody) / Rasa (Emotion) / Laya (Rhythm) featuring The Carnatica Brothers (Sri. K.N. Shashikiran & Sri. P. Ganesh) along with other renowned artists Sri. Guruvayur Dorai (Mridangam) and Subhashree Thanikachalam (Jaya TV’s Ragamalika fame) and Interactive Quiz with the audience (prizes upto $500).

About the artists
K.N.Shashikiran is one of the Carnatica Brothers is a child prodigy, an established vocalist and a world record holder for nonstop duo singing, who has a vast experience of over 3500 concerts including lecture-demonstrations, jugalbandhis, and fusions in prominent organizations in India, USA, Canada, UK, Gulf, Singapore, and Malaysia. He has been the brain behind several innovative concepts in globally promoting carnatic music such as the world’s first CD ROM Nadanubava.

P.Ganesh (vocalist and chitraveena player) is a child prodigy & sings with Shashikiran as Carnatica Brothers and has performed across the world. He is also an exponent of chitraveena. He has created history by performing nonstop for a record duration in the vocal and chitraveena. He is also a music composer and has performed jugalbandhis and fusions.

Guruvayur Dorai is one of India's senior-most exponents of the South Indian classical percussion instrument, the mridangam. He had his initial training under Palghat Subba Iyer and E.P. Narayana Pisharody, and later from the legendary master Pazhani Subramanium Pillai. Initiating his concert performances at the tender age of eight, Guruvayur Dorai has performed on the concert platform for the past 60 years. His wide range of efforts in the field of mridangam and music have helped propogate the art around the globe.

A bundle of energy, Subashree Thanikachalam has carved a niche for herself as television director. Starting off with Hello Sugama on Sun TV, this nutrition graduate struck pay dirt with the hugely-popular Sapthaswarangal on the same channel (she has since moved out of that show). She has managed to get hold of the viewer's pulse and keep the TRP ratings going for all her shows. She will bring to the audience Ragamalika, a selection of choicest vintage film songs.
